A Celebration Of Cerebral Palsy We Won’t Soon Forget!

There are countless moments that Children’s Cerebral Palsy Movement has been proud of, and countless more to come, but there are certain moments that stand above the rest that encapsulate who we are, and why we fight so hard for the Cerebral Palsy community. The gathering to kick off our “Recipe for Caring” program at Tutto Fresco Kitchen & Bar was a defining moment for us, one that we will remember for years to come.

The event was about more than raising money, it was about celebrating the community, and bringing together the generous and wonderful people that have joined us in our battle to better the lives of CP children everywhere. There is no way to express our gratitude to all of the people that came out to support us and all of the individuals and companies that so graciously gave of themselves to make the event a huge success that helped the nonprofit raise more than $25,000 toward funding important CP community programming.

We want to share our heartfelt thanks to those that made this happen with their generous financial and in-kind donations to our silent and live auctions:

Tutto Fresco Kithchen & Bar , for donating their incredible space, wonderful live auction items, and providing such mouth-watering food and beverage. The event truly could not have happened without them. It is an honor to call Steve & Debbie White and Dan Johns friends!

General William & Willa Dean Lyon, graciously provided private tours of the renowned Lyon Classic Automobile Collection as part of our live auction. They represent the generosity of Orange County, and have become invaluable supporters of CCPM.

True Foods Newport Beach generously provided a private chef-led dinner party for 4. This, on top of their previous support at our Children’s CP Fun Run.

Jaguar Land Rover Mission Viejo provided two fabulous and unique experiences for our auction: a 72 hour weekend use of a Jaguar with Swag Bag, as well as a Land Rover with Swag Bag!

Mike Garson, David Bowie’s piano-man of 30 years, donated a beautiful autographed David Bowie themed gift basket, a one-of-a-kind item celebrating one of the most important artistic visionaries of the 20th century.

Jim Eggold, a talented and experienced mentalist not only performed for the audience, but also offered a private performance for an in-home party.

Sun Bicycles / Pure Ride Cycles provided us with a Miami Sun Beach Cruiser bike for our silent auction.

Coto de Caza Golf Club, one of the premier golfing locations in Southern California, auctioned off a free round of golf for 4.

We were provided with some out-of-this-world wines from Wine Warehouse, and Steve & Christine McAnlis.

Some of CCPM’s board members also donated to our auction. Bill Stephens provided beautiful photography prints. Dr. Brad Waters of Waters Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center offered guests the chance at a wonderful package incorporating an evaluation, full body massage, a therapeutic sleeping pillow, and a roller massage ball.

CCPM Board Chairman Ruth Denault , graciously provided financial underwriting for the event, as well as auction items such as a private dinner & show at Hollywood’s Magic Castle, tickets for the Philharmonic, and more.

Board member RJ Mittie showed off his humor and kindness by offering himself up for auction as well, donating an evening with him as a dinner party guest!

There were so many more supporters, to a degree we could not have predicted! Every single donation helped take us one step closer to providing unique and much-needed experiences and programs for children with Cerebral Palsy.

Our sincerest thanks to other important contributors that made this event such a success!
